Red Ribbon With JFC

Aside from the popular Goldilocks Bakery in the Philippines, Red Ribbon Bakery has also been one of the few bakeshops that made it on the top. Currently, Red Ribbon Bakery, or commonly known as simply Red Ribbon, has reported to have a total of 80 branches all over the Philippines, and there are now 20 stores all over California, two in Las Vegas, two in New Jersey (Jersey City and Bergenfield), one in metro Phoenix and one branch in New York. But this success wouldn't be possible without the help of the of the biggest corporations in the Philippines, Jollibee Foods Corporation.

Before JFC's Help
Before Jollibee Foods Corporation, or JFC, acquired Red Ribbon, it was doing good on its own. Established in the early years of 1979, along Timog Avenue, its owners have had their continues success in a hobby-induced business of selling unique collections of cakes and pastries. From this success, Red Ribbon owners quickly decided to expand their branch outside of the Philippines. It was in 1984 that Red Ribbon Bakery opened its firstUS branch in West Covina, California.

After their success abroad, its owners again focused on expanding their business in the Philippines. The only way they would be able to expand their brand to have it on franchise. Red Ribbon first started its franchising business in 1999. This business venture helped spread the name of Red Ribbon Bakery across Metro Manila. This is also the reason why JFC saw its potential in the food-service industry. It was in 2005, one year before buying out the remain shares of Greenwich Pizza, that JFC acquired Red Ribbon. This acquisition led the company to penetrate the bakeshop industry.

With JFC
With its acquisition in October 2005 by Jollibee Foods Corporation, Red Ribbon entered a new phase in its company history. The company will soon become the biggest and fastest-growing bakeshop in the Philippines. Its mission is to bring the joy of eating to everyone through its great-tasting food and superior quality. Through JFC, Red Ribbon has grown to over 200 outlets all over the country and 24 stores in the US with locations in California, Las Vegas, Arizona and New Jersey.

Other than cakes
Other than cakes and pastries, Red Ribbon have also expanded to provide other food stuffs. Some branches of Red Ribbon Bakery also sell pastas rather than just cakes and pastries. This includes the popular Carbonara, Lasagna, Spaghetti, and the Filipino favorite Palabok.
