Red Ribbon Bakeshop is considered as one of the Philippine's finest bakeshops across the world. With the help of JFC (Jollibee Food Corporation), Red Ribbon across the world. But other than Red Ribbon, there is another bakery in which served the Filipino people even before Red Ribbon Bakeshop opened its doors. This bakery is the Goldilocks Bakery. According to several professionals and critics, Goldilocks Bakery has been considered as the top bakery in the bakeshop industry in the Philippineswhich produces and distribute some of the most delectable collections of Filipino made cakes and pastries.

When and where did Goldilocks Bakery started?
The business started in 1966 by sisters Milagros, Clarita, Maria Flor and their sister-in-law, Doris as a family business in a one-door apartment of a two-story structure on Pasong Tamo Street, Makati City. From here, the founders first served their customers with some of the most delectable collections of cakes and pasties. Soon after, the business grew, as well as the demand for its cakes. The the founders decided to expand their business outside their area. From these conceptualization, Goldilocks Bakery grew into one of the countries most promising bakeshop with established 192 branches throughout the islands.

As of today, Goldilocks Bakery have expanded to over a total of 250 stores not only in the Philippines, but in selected countries across the world. And from a ten employees, Goldilocks Bakery has now hired over a thousand employees, working hard to provide the same service that Filipinos have had with the bakery. The opening day total sales of P574 back in 1966 has multiplied thousand of times over, reaching a system-wide sales of P5.9 billion by the end of 2007.

Other than sweet cakes
Other than cakes and pastries, Goldilocks Bakery is also known to provide some Filipino favorites including beef cuisines (such as beef Caldereta, Bistik Tagalog, and Kare-Kare), pork cuisines (such as Binagoongang Baboy, Bopis, Chinese Pork Adobo, and Dinuguan), chicken cuisines (such as Chicken BBQ and Orange Chicken), seafood cuisines (such as De-lite Fish and Tofu with tausi Sauce, Bangus Steak, Fish Relleno Pockets, and Rellenong Bangus), as well as vegetable cuisines (such as Laing, Fresh Lumpia, and Pinakbet). Popular thirst quenchers include halo-halo, gulaman, and sago.
