Chronographs

Chronograph watches have two main functions. Along with timekeeping, they also have stopwatch functions. The chronographs produced in the 18th century hit popularity in the 1820s. These are usually worn by men.

Two Main Types of Chronographs

1.Digital Chronographs
Both the timekeeping and stopwatch functions are displayed digitally. They either come in separate displays or you need to switch the modes on the same display.

2.Analog-digital Chronographs
Analog-digital chronographs have a standard analog watch with center seconds and independent separate digital display.

Dive watch is fashioned to be water resistant. These are suited for scuba divers or saturation divers. A standard has been issued by ISO for such water resistant watches. The standard also prohibits them from using the term "waterproof".
