A Way to Reduce Our Immigration Problems

Foreigners dream about coming to America to make their fortune. The think that if they fail there are all types of Social Services to help them when they need money or any type of assistance. Come to America and get a brand new credit file. They think we are the land of the helpful when you need it.
Little do they know that most blue collar workers will work 40 years for a company and then social security may provide them with enough for rent and that's about it. Our countries lack of affordable medical care is something else they never learn about. For many years all they hear is how great it is over here. They learn nothing of the realities so they pack up and head over the border. Of course the reality is like a hard slap in the face to them but by that time it is too late.

If these foreigners were educated about the realities of America today then I guarantee a lot less of them would want to make a new start over here. Let them know what it is like for the working class at retirement in the US. The only way they will be able to live a good life over here is if they invest and save a large part of their earnings. All these people see is the glorified US in all the media and creative advertising. They are seldom prepared for the reality of what is in store for them over here.

Everybody sees America as this great land of opportunity where the citizenries take top priority. If they would take the time to establish some type of communications with a citizen here first then they might learn that things are not that great over here also. This where we have failed big time, by letting our neighbors believe that we are all living this great American Dream life.
