Celebrate the Freedom in this Special Time of the Year

Submitted by fancycreativity
Thu, 16 Aug 2007

An Independence Day is an annual celebration of the anniversary of a nation's assumption of independent country, usually after achieving freedom from another country. Most countries honor their respective independence day as a national holiday and some countries celebrate with fire works, parade and parties.
You must have heard or read those famous words, "We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

It's the time of the year to be patriotic and to reflect on the roots of our republic. Blood was spilled to gain our independence and I'm sure you'd agree there has never been and will never be another country as alike.

Freedom is the substance every person wants; freedom is the luxury of sharing ideas for the improvement of human kind and helping those in need. Freedom permits you to go after your dreams and to live responsibly without having to look over your shoulder. And if taken for granted and not protected—freedom becomes invisible and possibly out of reach.

Some people take these liberties to much for granted, and most do not know the true price that was paid then, and is still paid today on a daily basis for these liberties. So I ask you to please always remember; Freedom is truly never free! Patriotism is not a sin, and the Independence Day has always had more to it than fireworks, beer, picnics, baseball games, and another holiday off.

So, why not to celebrate this special time in a year? You can send Independence Day sms to your friend and wish them a day of glory.

I pray that you will truly show your patriotic support for your great country and celebrate this glorious day wishing each other with Independence Day sms.

Your country is your pride. Then why not to celebrate Independence Day with your friends and relatives.
