Dating Warning Signs: Knowing when it's time to stop dating someone

Courting at times can be a complicated affair, especially when you're trying to get to know a person that you just met. When we first meet individuals, we all tend to be on my best behaviour and make every effort to show an individual our best and most powerful assets. If we really like an individual, and that individual shows an interest in us, then we will go to great lengths in order to maintain that person's interest, with many of our actions bordering on deception. Some contend that the courting game is mostly a game of deception and strategy, and these are the individuals that we must be wary of when courting, and they will start to show warning signs in very short order.

One of the key warning signs that tells us know it is time to stop dating an individual is any sign of dishonesty. If you are dating an individual, and you find out that many of the things that he or she has said about themselves have been false, then this is a clear warning sign that that individual is someone that you should discontinue courting. The most dangerous thing about a dishonest dater, is the fact that small lies at the beginning of a relationship, usually mask much larger detrimental situations in that person's life, that will have a negative impact on you if you continue a relationship with them.

A clear sign that it is time to stop dating an individual is inconsistency. For instance, if you and an individual that you are seeing make plans to meet at a certain time, and that individual shows up once, and you make additional plans to meet at a certain time, the individual fails to show up and gives you no phone call letting you know that they will not be able to make it. This not only shows inconsistency, but a lack of respect for you as a person as well. This is inconsistency and disrespect is usually a telltale sign of larger inconsistencies that exist in their lives, and it will be wise for you to discontinue the relationship with this individual.

A clear lack of financial stability is another indicator or warning that a person is not good for you to date. If you and an individual date on numerous occasions, and you find that you are always having to pay for the date (if you are female), and the individual is also asking to borrow money from you on every occasion that you meet, then there is a clear lack of financial stability with this person. An individual that doesn't have their finances in order, the ability to take care of themselves, may not be the type of individual that you should be interested in continuing a relationship with.

Poor hygiene is another warning sign that you may need to stop dating an individual. If an individual does not present a neat and clean appearance, then they are not an individual that you should continue courting.
