You would obviously be aware as to why your boyfriend does not want to be in a relationship with you, any longer. But you miss him terribly and you want to have another chance at being in a relationship together.

Give your boyfriend enough respect to realize that he may be hurting and confused, and he may both want and need to be in his own space at this particular time. If you can give each other the time you both need to come to grips with the reality of the situation, and in so doing, help allay some of the fear or anger your boyfriend may be going through, you may both realize you have to talk this whole issue through, both openly and honestly before either of you are in a position to make any final decisions where the relationship is concerned.

Show respect and give your boyfriend the space and time he needs to deal with the real issues involved in the relationship breakup.
