If you have your ex's address or email address, you should send them something that is unique or genuine to them. Or if you have their address, order them their favorite pizza or delivery item - and pay for it. Maybe they're a World of Warcraft player. Get them a key chain with their character printed on it. You don't even have to buy them something. Make them something instead. Whatever is genuine to them. And only do this. Don't whine to them that you did this for them and that was sweet of you.
