The Sensual art of TouchSubmitted by kajuba Fri, 17 Jul 2009
The sensation of touch is one of the clearest manifestations of the people around us, and the height of activity while dating. The sense of touch bridges the gap that exists between friends, suitors and lovers. Where words fail touch does the rest. Touch may therefore acts as a non verbal form of communication. It is as instrumental to us as the human race as language is. A perfect way of showing a sense of tenderness towards those we care most about is touching.
Stress is relieved through touch. When we are emotionally strained, an unexpected touch does the magic although the first impulse is often to see it as distraction and perpetuation of our troubles. There is no other perfect way of showing intimacy than through physical contact, more so those we are dating or seeing. There are also some ways of touch which are honestly annoying and embarrassing. Greetings are the most common type of touch. There are conventions set by different communities on how different age groups should greet their colleagues as well as that of other age brackets. When a woman puts her hands around her husband in an embrace, the calming effect which they both experience goes a long way in solidifying their relationship. Small children look forward to the evenings when dad and mum always bring home the unforgettable kiss. Such actions are the building blocks of fond childhood memories. For people who have just started dating, it magnetically joins them and makes two individuals to be one. We can no doubt agree that the well executed touch will have a therapeutic effect on the participants. It is a demonstration of the fondness with which our friends, lovers, family members and colleagues regard us. As a single person, you may think that you don't need the hug from your close lady friend. The truth is that this is the first thing that you should be after. Every time you feel that you are too far away from everybody else, and dating has been shelved for some time, this is the natural reaction to the lack of physical contact with the people around you. We all live in constant fear of being isolated. This tickles into action. If you are in an office and no one has knocked on your door, you feel an innate urge to go out there and find out if everything is fine. This is not entirely why we want to look out of the window. We also want to if there is a new friend we can shake hands with or a beautiful girl we can shake hands with and seduce. Dating lovers hold hands in order to feel close to each other as well as make a statement to the world. The familiar touch of the barber has a soothing effect on our nerves. It is like a kind of a massage. This reminds one of the massage businesses which are now one of the most popular businesses. Where massaging businesses have not been able to catch up with growing customer needs, people rush to the bathrooms during the lunch break and enjoy the feel of cold water constantly hitting their bodies. From dating to marriage relationships, the enjoyment seems to come from the union of the sense that the other person provides.
