Jewellery makes a bride look all the more beautiful. In Indian weddings, wearing jewellery is customary. The jewellery can gold, silver, platinum or diamond, depending on the taste and overall budget.

Maangtika - It is worn on the forehead with a decorative centre piece having a long string. The style of a Maangtika also depends on the color and the embroidery on the bride's dress.

Finger rings - Finger rings are also one of the most important and beautiful pieces of Indian bridal jewelry. There are a number of styles available in the market in case of rings. Like other jewels, finger rings are also available in different metals, colors and gemstones. Usually, these rings are worn on the ring fingers. But one can wear finger rings on several fingers, as per the preference of the bride.

Various other bridal accessories include head crown tiara, armbands worn on the upper part of the arm, diamond or pearl studded beautiful anklets, toe-rings, bracelets and golden bindi.

These jewellery items not only make the bride look beautiful and outstanding but also they make her look a traditional Indian bride. Since the time unknown, jewellery has been considered as an important part of Indian marriages. Jewellery is usually worn on occasion that are associated with happiness. Undoubtedly, wedding is one of the happiest and important functions of a woman's life that it is why, jewellery becomes an important aspect of it. An Indian bride is supposed to be decked up from head to toe in beautiful jewelry that complements her attire and her personality on the matrimonial day.
