In the State of Hawaii there are over 184 miles of sandy shoreline. Although there are plenty of beautiful beaches located throughout Hawaii, I believe that Maui has the best selection of awesome sandy beaches facing into the west. That makes them the perfect spot for your sunset beach wedding.

South Maui beaches are the highest quality beaches in all of Hawaii for a beach wedding. Why? The weather is more stable with much less chance of rain. There are more miles of sand and a lot less bathers than you'll find in west Maui.

The best choices on Maui for sunset beach weddings are further south in Kihei, Wailea and the Makena areas. There are many fantastic beach locations that are secluded, have great photographic qualities to them, and which are much less likely to have rain and wind than many of the other beaches on the island.
