More than this, President Obama will be known as the man who inspired change in the American people. It is clear: this man has broken records. He broke the record of the Presidency on race. He broke the record by being the first major-party presidential candidate whose funds relied mainly on the finance of his supporters. He broke the record by being strongly supported by people from the GOP.

Instantly becoming not only as an historical icon, but also as a pop-culture icon. People from all walks of life, race, religion came up to support the man who believes in the power of courage and hope. What, perhaps made him all the more charismatic, is his belief to put an end to divisive politics and resurrect America as nation—sans the recognition or preference over race, political leaning, or gender.

President Barack Obama is loved and respected by people because of his desire to move towards centrist politics and to do away with red states and blue states. He wanted and inspired people to move towards change, and unity instead of a division Americans had known of politics for so long.
