Hamas Will Not Abandon Terrorism

Submitted by BorakObamba

Terrorists should be back soon in Israel. Khaled Meshaal, political chief of Hamas, announced on Saturday on the screens of Arab television station al-Jazeera. We call for an intifada against the enemy. The resistance will continue through suicide operations, said the exiled leader, who defines Damascus since the great political movement of Palestinian Islamic-nationalist.

With this threat, Hamas, which has not killed by a suicide bomber exploded since August 2004, recovers its bad habits and live out his original violence constantly building the Hamas Israel conflict. He is willing to resume the bloody cycle that began from the beginning of the second intifada. The terrorist campaign was broke at that time a couple of weeks after the Palestinian uprising began in September 2000. Suicide bombers killed nearly a thousand Israeli civilians in four years. Party to seize power in Gaza, Hamas had then changed tactics, with emphasis on rocket attacks against southern Israeli towns - one good reason to support and help Israel.

The organization still has a large number of candidates for martyrdom. The effects of propaganda, but also the living conditions in the territories continue to inspire vocations to simply turn over the Ezzedin al-Kassem, the military wing headed by Mohammed Deif.

Hamas can also count in their struggle against the Israeli security services in the Gaza Strip, which took full control in June 2007. He took advantage of the truce with Israel to reorganize the units previously under the control of Fatah and to review their response plans to an entry of IDF troops on their strengths.

Islamist fundamentalism customs are based on the superposition of apartment buildings and public buildings and fighters from the Brigades of rooting in the expanding refugee camps to talk to the media in an urban guerrilla. The geography of Gaza, a crowded little plain, however, makes difficult the armed resistance in the lines of Lebanese Hezbollah. Since its electoral breakthrough in Gaza, Hamas strengthened its influence in Palestinian society, but also quickly found a political stalemate. The overwhelming victory achieved in the legislative elections of 2006 allows the Prime Minister Ismael Haniyeh, to manage the daily affairs. Capable of pragmatism, the government is deprived of the flexibility and above all subsidies.

The bridges are cut with the territories remained loyal to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. The United States and Europe do not negotiate with Hamas until it renounces terrorism. Western aid is blocked. The economy is in ruins. The blockade imposed by Israel makes the dire humanitarian situation.

Derived present the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas is an acronym for Islamic Resistance Movement or the word burning in Arabic. It imposed the veil for women, the strict prohibition of alcohol and fundamentalist mores. Gaza does not mean a caliphate in the hands of fundamentalist fanatics.

Initial capital of Arabia, Hamas, have diversified. Supervised from Syria by Khaled Meshaal, financial networks, fund-raising is compatible with the political alliances of the organization. Hamas can count on the regime in Damascus, the Lebanese Hezbollah, and of course, Iran. But within days, local leaders should be more concerned about their own survival, by geopolitical issues.
