Tattoos have been considered fancy and trendy in the recent past, especially among the young generation. Different people get tattoos for a whole lot of different reasons. Some cultures and communities encourage them as a practice of say religion or beauty. Others detest them, associating them with people who are rebellious or socially extreme. In this case, people who have tattoos and want to get married may want to avoid the exposure of their tattoos to the audience or in their wedding pictures by covering, fading, removing them permanently.

Grooms who have tattoos may not worry a lot compared to the brides since apart from wrists, neck and face, brides wear gowns exposing their shoulders, back and arm, places where most people prefer there tattoos. Brides may opt for gowns that have fully covered backs so as to cover any tattoos found there. Other gowns can also be used to covers tattoos on the chest, shoulders and arms if the have a high neckline and long sleeves. However, for gowns with a bare back or spaghetti straps, strapless or off-shoulder, you may want to fade it out so that it can not be seen for some time.

Available alternatives include using of regular makeup to cover the tattoo. Done by an expert, make up can be used to cover small tattoo especially on people with dark skins. The foundation should be heavy and the tone of the make up must much that of your skin color. This will ensure the patch formed is not visible and looks as natural as possible. Care should be taken by ensuring that the heavy make up does rub off and transfer onto the white gown, exposing the tattoo in the process. Make up may however not work well on you if the skin where the tattoo is found is wrinkled or if your skin is too light.

Tattoo removing kits are also available in the market today. They work well with people who are light skinned and those with large tattoos. Most of these kits include air sprays which can be applied on the tattoos. Spray a number of layers, leaving each layer to dry properly, until the tattoo becomes invisible. You may also want to powder the patch to make it less shiny. Ensure that the color tone of your skin matches with that of the spray and powder for a more natural look. The good thing about the tattoo removing kits is that their products rarely smear or rub of into the skin. They also stay for long withstanding both heat and sweat.

The last option is to remove the tattoo completely. This may be a bit expensive and sometimes painful. Experts use laser lights, chemical products and even skin grafting in removing the tattoos completely and permanently from the skin. Laser therapy and skin grafting are expensive options and may be painful. Chemicals on the other hand may be injected into or applied on the tattooed skin. They are not painful and can be used at home. These creams fade the tattoo by changing the pigmentation of the skin.
