I'm going to share with you the secret to planning a bulk up diet. It really isn't that hard, it's the fine-tuning, to make sure you don't put on excess fat as well. Just make sure that you workout hard at the gym while following your diet plan to a "t".

The hardest part of ball is figuring up how much you should eat. You want to supply enough nutrients to satisfy muscle building completely, but you don't want to have too much that you put on a lot of fat. This may not be the answer you want to hear with a bulk up diet, but you're going to have to start a diet journal. There is no flat number of calories I can give you. If you easily put on fat, I suggest you start at 3000 calories and calibrate accordingly to the results you receive. If you're one of those skinny guys that don't gain a pain no matter what they do, start at 4000.

If you haven't been diet journaling up to this point, you should start now. You need to monitor how much you're taking in, so you can calibrate it later. If you're putting 5lbs of weight each week eating 4000 calories a day, you should probably cut back. Calibration gives you the key to play around and find the magic number.

You need to increase the amount of carbohydrates you eat. Carbs are the component of food that gives you energy. This energy is needed, so you can be extra intense with your workout. If you're not being intense, you will not put on muscle.

Lastly, remember to eat every 2-3hrs. This allows your body to absorb the maximum amount of nutrients from the food. This will ensure you have the best results you possibly can get.
This is all that is required of a bulk up diet. You need to always be calibrating to find the sweet spot and put on the muscle.
