Coaching CareerSubmitted by tobbilla78 Tue, 11 Sep 2007
The term coach is sometimes equivalent in U.S. usage to the term manager in other English-speaking countries in reference to the director of a sporting team. A coach, particularly in a major operation, is traditionally aided in his efforts by one or more assistants known as the coaching staff. At this point in the competitive and recreational season, it helps every coach to get some refreshed ideas and training suggestions. Coaches teach that what they sacrifice today they gain tomorrow. The hardships, the practices, and the friendships earned determine what kind of person they become after the game is over. A coach teaches self-respect, control, and hard work. A coach expects every athlete to give their all and never quit, because once you quit, it’s easy to do it a second time. A coach tutors how to deal with fear and failure. These are some of the life lessons student athletes learn from there coach and through sports that are applied to a meaningful and productive life.
No one achieves success by themselves. The coach knows being part of a team and learning how to work with others is true in life as it is in sports-because the rules don’t bend in sports and they don’t bend in life. You might not like a rule, but you play by it-or are penalized. Countless players have turned their lives around through a coach’s influence. They’ve learned how to succeed on the field and off the field. They learn that you have to do the little things before practice, during practice, and after practice to be the best they can be. So we created iCoachUSA to make their job a little easier and a little brighter. We know how busy a coach can be. They don’t have the hours needed to search the Internet, print out letters, build a resume, buy stamps, envelopes, mailing out follow up letters, and network with other coaches to find a new job. We recognize, respect, appreciate, and support the important role the coach plays in the lives of the future leaders of our nation. We appreciate the sacrifices they make to impact the lives of their players. They’re to busy coaching. That’s where we come in. We’re here to help coaches find jobs that pay them what they deserve. A job where they are respected for the work they do off the field as well as on the field. We aim to find coaches a position where they have the support of the administration and the community so they can develop a winning program and also be a positive role model for the future leaders of our nation. We employ full-time researchers whose only responsibilities every day are to search the Internet and classified listings of newspapers across the nation, looking for new coaching jobs. We also e-mail schools, athletic directors, sports clubs, teams and all sports associations, asking them to post their jobs on our site. We are even extending our services worldwide. So, if you’re one of the lucky few coaches who are 100% satisfied with your coaching situation and not the least bit interested in a new position congratulations! - Then do your fellow coaches a favor and tell them about us so they can have what you have.
