When we compete to other teams; all sorts of weird ideas will come to our mind. Sometimes, fatigue and pressure can make us forget the thought why we want to participate in the competition. I have participated in marathon many times, but once I found that I could not remember what could promote me to run. I dropped out of the competition because of my physical and mental exhaustion. I would not take part in the marathon competition unless I really want to finish my running.
When I could not keep in mind that why I take part in the competition, I would said to myself that although I can not remember the reason why I participate in the match, I have to have a good reason in my mind. At last, I learned that if my mind began to put up some sophisticated argument, how I could put them down. It would also be very easy to find all sorts of reasons to slow down when the race went on. You would tell yourself that the pain was too much for you, your feet blistered and the old scar on your body pained again and again. The race was not important in any cases. In tight races, such arguments sounded persuasive and also could move person. Only a little later, after you yielded to this kind of cheating words, you would be disappointed on yourself. If you also want to participate in the competition, then you must try your best to run, this stands to reason. And this requires mental exercise. There are several ways that can enhance your running will. If you planned to run a certain distance; you have to run it over. If you plan to run two miles, even if you have to walk a distance, you have to finish you running. So you can learn how to endure when you run successfully, so that you can be stronger while you occasionally run uncomfortably. If you quit when the exercise does not go well, you only can learn how to avoid problems, but you will never know how to change uneasiness into an easy thing. When I was in bad situation, I would write "terrible" in my diary. It was strange that I often have an unexpected d time after one or two bad running condition. As far as I am concerned, the "bad" is slower than normal pace sometimes. Thus I can have a rest, so that in the next time I can run faster and easier. Another good idea to train your willpower is to do exercise as your plan completely. Whether it looks hard to do or it is difficult to run. You will encounter some days, everything looks slow and without harvest, you prefer to stop the exercise completely. Now comes the important time to go on. As we mentioned before, through some findings, we could conclude that there was a close relationship between the powers an athlete used according to his heart rate and the real powers that were measured according to oxygen amount. For this reason, you probably make yourself exercised even though the speed you run is not good enough as you wished. There also the third method to exercise your willpower, you frequently do a long distance running, which is unusual as well. Do not run in two consecutive days for three miles, but to run one mile in the first day and to run five miles in the second day. So that you are accustomed to long distance running. After a time, marathon would not look that long if you keep on exercising like this.
