The fundamentals of a solid marketing strategy includes researching the client base to target, geographic data procurement, what age range is the ideal client, what offers will win the client and how to keep the customer from going elsewhere. These are the fundamentals to help your company go forward.
Contra to popular belief sales and marketing are 2 different zones. Marketing attracts the customer, sales gets the sale however its also true a solid business marketing plan gets the company well thought off and procures interest from your target market. Business Plan Layout Ok, first things first, your marketing plan requires an overview of your business strategy, this is to do with professionalism and lays out your plan for your marketing department to follow. This summary would include: - The goal of your company – only a summary is needed - The companies goals and objectives - How you intend to meet those goals What this does is essentially map out your companies mission and objectives and thus how it all works in tandem and works together. It also displays to the reader the actual path and series of events of your marketing plan – a map if you will of how your company will arrive at its objective or mission at some future time. Marketing Strategy and Goals: So, what exact sequence of events are needed to bring your marketing plan into actuality? You would cover exactly – based on research, what it will take to achieve the goals and aims of your company this would include financial, manpower and the organization of such to deliver the products of the company within and assigned budget. How to do a Business Plan Getting your business marketing plan off the ground: We arrive at the point of execution of your marketing plan. Now its time to designate staff there hat (hat would be job) and make them responsible for it, the staff member would be held to account on the monies assigned to there division, the accountability of services they employ and so on. Designation here is the key to success after all you only have one pair of hands. Business Marketing Plan Success : Ideally you would draft out in pencil, a mini organizing board, make labels which are color coded and with the designated staff members name on the label, this will help you keep track of who does what.
