How to be the Better Fisher

Submitted by Fishing-shopper

Better Fisherman?

I really don't belive there is such thing as a better fisherman who can land a heavy bass on every throw. But what I do belive is that there is such thing as a more smart and knowledge filled fisherman.

You can't throw in a dollar store bait and expect fish to bite, it is impossible. From my experience I learned that any type of fish will bite either worms or minnows. Especially the small ones, but I do belive you need to go buy yourself a $9 lure to land a big fish.

The pointers of some good fishing advice would be the following. Firstly never be too rushed and get your heart rate and nerves up. Calm down and stay in the spot you are. Just because it doesn't work here it doesn't mean it will work there. The grass is not greener on the other side. But you should always keep in mind that the fishing hours are from dawn to 11am and evening starts from 11pm. It is true that you can catch fish in the non fishing hours, but I am telling you the chances are really slim. I did not get these hours out of nothing but as a world fisher I know when fish bite and they do not. Like a few weeks ago when I went ice fishing i could have sworm right up to 11am fish were biting like a frenzy. I caught a fish every 5 seconds. As soon as it became 11:30 not one fish came up. Evey 30 minutes or so one fish would come up. This is because of obvious reasons. Fish like to swim at night and eat at night because they are stealthed by birds and many predators. In broad daylight they have a higher chance of getting caught. So please keep in mind that timing plays a huge factor in fishing.

My second pointer would to have the right equipment. Although I can teach you ways to outfish the person beside you, I can't teach you how to buy that new $200,000 boat. But I can recommend you something much cheaper. If you have about a $300 budget for a strong "fishing boat" re-enforced with military coating of rubber with a motar, please contact me as a freind of mine owns a business that sells these boats " He promised to givediscounts to customers I bring in". He currently sold over 800, 000 boats including motar You can contact me through my website below. Anyways strong rubber fishing boats can do the trick easily and are fast and reliable too.

My third pointer is to know where to fish. This can be tricky and you must know what kind of fish you want. For an example if you want pike, bass, or salmon I say try rivers during October. If you want strictly perch, pumpkin fish, bass, I would recommend you weedy shallow areas. And use worms they work the best. Minnows are a pain because it take long just to take them out and hook them.

safety tips

I know many of you may be grown men and you feel like you don't need the safety equipment but once it happens it happens. for an example your canoe or boat gets flipped and you hit your head on the way down. Your body will drown because you don't have a lifejacket on. But let's see it on the brighter side, if you did have a life jacket on and you were knoicked out by hitting something, you would be at least floating! Do you want to live or die? they are called LIFE JACKETS for a reason.

Carry a whistle, if you swallow to much water, or cannot scream louder than a whistle than carry one! No one can be louder than a whistle at full blast.

Carry a flashlight, like I said you will probably going fishing when the sun is not up yet in most cases. So make sure you carry a flashlight for safety and convenience purposes.

Carry a rope, just incase someone falls in you have something to reel them in. And you can be a hero who is featured on tommorows newspaper.
I hope I helped you add some fishing tips in your brain, and remember to be safe.
