If you cast in your line and no fish are biting, chances are pretty soon a big fish will bite. Now don't be stupid and understand what I said the wrong way. You can't cast in a place with no underwater plants and a depth of 20cm and expect a big fish. no no you must be at a place where is it somewhat deep. I tell ya it is a lot more fun catching 30 small fish in a few hours than catching nothing, hoping for a big fish in one whole day.
Baits VS Live Baits

I live in Ontario, a beautful and famous place for most fisherman all over the world. I usually prefer to use live minnows or worms for catching the small ones. But for big ones I have a secret weapon that never fails me. I will give you the link later on but first I would like to compare the two types of baits. Most fisherman will tell you that even big fish will go for minnows or worms. let me tell you something. This is only true is you are in a swampy area. For lakes and rivers I urge you to get a lure/bait that is not alive. I will admit most of the one's you see at wal mart won't work. There are only a few factory made baits that will work. And as i said i will give you the link later. If you are one of those people who hate to touch live worms or minnows i say don't fish at all. Because how are you going to touch fish? I had a freind once who I took fishing and everytime he would not touch the fish nor live bait. So I told him that I wasn't going to do it for him anymore. He was so grossed out by the fish he just left the hook in it's mouth, cut the line and threw the fish back in the water. Now that fish has to live with a hook in it's mouth for the remainder of it's life. I'd rather see you play a virtual fishing game than do that. Time and Location

I pulled over at a highway where there was a river and I found something amazing! I saw that fish actually hid in shadows and under little caves. Here is what happened. I dropped the line right in front of me without throwing it. There was a dark shadow in this weedy area. The moment I dropped my line i doubted there will be any fish here but a small pumpkin fish rocketed to my worm and bit in 1 second. So when fishing I urge you to try shady places, and weedy places. And of course everyone fisherman knows fish bite between 9PM -11Am. Remember those times, as fish will bite rarely in the day. And for the location, fishing can happen anywhere where there is water.
