Ringside boxing shoes: High top versus low top shoes

The biggest consideration while making purchase of ringside boxing shoes is to decide that you have to take high top shoes or low top shoes. Every one has a different choice and you can only decide the ones which can work the best for you. There are some things, which may help you to make a right choice. The best way to find the right shoe is to try a few pairs and then make decision for the accurate ones.

Low top shoes are made up of fine leather having suede tops, which are high till ankles. They appear like regular running shoes and the special feature is that they have straps, which function for the support of lateral arches or foot. The main use of straps is to safeguard the feet of players. Soles are made up of rubber or have anti skid properties for safety. These shoes are liked by men and women having many sizes, colors and designs.

High top shoes have the laces up to the level of shins. The best ones are made up of leather and there is proper ventilation and comfort inside them. The shoes also makes boxers for getting execution of the movements carried out from side to side or back to front and vice versa. They also have rubber soles for anti-skid properties. Most of the patterns of high top shoes have laces, but they are also available with Velcro straps on the ankle areas. This generates security for feet area and also, lessens the chance for getting down.

The fact is that high tops give more support to ankles. These are chosen by professional boxers having experience and correct information. Ankle and leg support is the main issue in dealing with kick boxing and the beginners should make its choice for getting extra support for ankle and leg.
