The huge production will be directed by Julie Taymor, a Tony Award winning director probably most notably for The Lion King on Broadway. With the present-day Hollywood enthusiasm for bringing Superhero's back to life on the screen Taymor will attempt to convey new light to Super-Man on stage. Music and Lyrics will be from Bono and The Edge of the ever popular rock band U2.
