Why do people like to bet so much? How long have people been betting in general? These are some of the questions that people like to ask a lot. People like to bet so much because of the fact that people are very competitive by nature, and love the feeling that if they make a bet they get the chance to win something.

Betting means different things to different people. Some people will make a bet that they can win a few dollars, while some people have been known to bet their whole life literally. There was a man a few years ago who sold all his belongings and went to Las Vegas to go double or nothing. Lucky enough for the man, he won his spin at the roulette wheel and actually doubled his life savings.

Most people don't bet their whole life like that gentleman did. The vast majority of people make much smaller bets in which they will not be harmed if they lost the bet but could gain some winnings if they were able to win the bet. This is the way that people should bet, because of the fact that it makes betting much more fun for both sides as a result.

Will people continue to bet in the future? The answer to this question is a yes. The bet and the desire of human beings to bet it at the basic core of who we are as people.
