Clean Diesel Engines

Submitted by jeffbabasa

Diesel is a pain to get rid of and I would insist on a replacement. Hit them with a bit of health and safety about the dire effects of inhaling diesel fumes. When manufacturers are designing a car they have to take account of many different requirements. The obvious ones are performance, reliability, looks and so on. However, a major constraint is always providing access to components that need maintenance or that are likely to need replacing during the life of the car. Basically the major part of a vehicle is an engine. Engine does everything without engine the car won’t work, so how can we improve a used diesel engine?
used diesel enginesis variants in the pipeline, a 1.4-litre diesel as well as high-tech direct injection 1.4 TSI petrol. The 1.4 TDI engine is the same three-cylinder pumpe duse (PD) engine that is fitted to the present used diesel engine. There could be an increase in power and torque for the larger notchback but the motor is fundamentally the same. The used diesel engine may be no more but there’s some good news for petrolheadsk. The company is planning to introduce a hot version of the used diesel engines. On the cards are either a 1.8 TSI or 2.0 TFSI for the diesel-powered engine. The 1.8 TSI, which is used in the engine in most markets, pumps out 160bhp. The company says that there won’t be a supercharger fitted to this engine. The used diesel enginesthat has recently tasted success in market will also get new motors by 2010. The company is keenly looking at offering the market, with the 1.9-litre TDI PD motor. This version is expected to breach the Rs 10 lakh mark. The yet-to-be-launched new Superb will also get the Greenline treatment.
