Digital cameras are becoming more and more popular as time goes by. As a scrapbooker, I find it easier to organize digital photos rather then tangible photos. This is how I chose to organize them.

After loading your photographs onto the computer, create new folders. Copy and paste photos by date and occasion. I like to copy and paste which photos I want to have per layout. So when its time to scrapbook, I merely view my folders and choose which one I wish to work on that day. I then look to see how many photographs the folder contains and pick a layout that would work for that amount of pictures. I consider which sizes I could print the photoyou cannot do that with normal film processing. I then print out images I wish to scrapbook with.

With digital photos, you can trim or change color tints on the photographs. Do you think sepia photos would look better than the colored photo? No problem, simply open your photo editing software and play with the coloring. If your photo is off center or a distracting image found it's way into your picture, you can use your photo editing program to crop or zoom in. Digital photo is the only way to go! They are much easier to handle and the only space they take up is computer space!
