Join the Space Age with Dish Network Satellite TV Programming

Submitted by kapsat

It seems that we live in an age when technology is moving forward much faster than we are capable of keeping up with it. At every juncture of a great technological leap that society has gone through, people tend to hold back and look for a good while before they make full use of it.

When the motor carriage made its debut, many people refused to trade in their horse and buggy for the new technology and it took some time before the higher level of technology gained full acceptance. Many new products were developed from space age technology, that are in common use today and they are all around us.

Corning cook ware was originally developed for use on the nose cones of missiles and Velcro fasteners were developed for use on astronaut's space suits. Obviously satellite broadcasting technology came out of the space age and it has raised the quantity and quality level of the TV programming that is available to everyone today.

Were it not for satellite TV programming service providers such as DirecTV there most likely would not be high definition programming available today. It's a format that the cable service providers would just as well do with out because it is above their technological, level so they are very limited in the number of channels that they can carry.

Cable service providers never wanted this recent explosion in TV viewing technology because satellite is the motor car and they are the hose and buggy in this techno contest. All of DirecTV's programming is in digital format and the only cable company to recently follow suit and switch to completely digitized format is Comcast and all the rest are still using a standard analog format to send out their signals, unless their customers pay extra for a digitized signal.

DirecTV's Total Choice Premier programming package has a full two-hundred and fifty channels of programming and they stock a full twenty-five premium sports channels for the sports enthusiasts in their viewing family. They also have gone out and secured exclusive broadcasting rights to two sports programming channels that you just can't get from any other programming service provider in the universe.

They are NFL Sunday Ticket and NCAA Mega March Madness and they can be added onto any of DirecTV's programming packages. They are both fantastic exclusive programs that bring forth a steady stream of games, provocative commentary, debate and a veritable cornucopia of exclusive one on one interviews with leading sports figures in both college and professional levels.

They also have a great selection of programming packages in their Total Choice series of programming packages, starting with their forty channel Family Choice package that can be had at a complete give away price to their Total Choice pak with 155, their Total Choice Plus pak with 185 and of course their Total Choice Premier pak with 250 channels of fantastic programming.

All of DirecTV's packages above the Family Choice level also come with free Sirius satellite radio programming. Also if you act now you can take advantage of DirecTV's latest promotional offer that nets each new member a free digital camera. For the latest and the greatest, look to the technological leaders in TV programming at DirecTV.
