Stuck with A Tuneless Ipod?

Submitted by CharlesSmith

Many people don’t seem to realize just how easy it is to put new music on their Ipod. I’m going to show you exactly how to do it during this article-if you didn’t know before, you’ll soon see how easy it is!

When putting music on an Ipod or any MP3 player, there are two main ways you can get the music-the first is maybe the cheapest, and that’s from your own CDs. It’s cheaper because you already own them right? And the second is by downloading from somewhere. This is pretty simple too, but I’ll cover that in another article-this one is solely to show you how to get the music from the CDs onto the Ipod.

First of all you want to make sure you have a computer that’s connected to the internet. That’s not a problem for most people these days. When you are hooked up to the internet, visit the Apple homepage and download an up to date copy of Itunes. Be sure to get the right one, as there are different downloads for Mac and PC users.

Next you want to get the cds you want transferred, and start transferring them over into Itunes. It’s just about the easiest thing in the world, literally a case of just putting the CD in the CD drive of your computer and clicking a few buttons.

Once this is done, you want to hook the computer and your Ipod up together. Once connected, switch the Ipod on. The computer and the Ipod should then recognize each other, and from there all you need to do is literally drag and drop whatever songs you want on to your Ipod using the mouse on the computer. It’s very very simple.

That’s how to put music onto your Ipod from CD. It’s pretty simple, as soon as you do it once you’ll never forget!

As I said, downloading music from the internet to put on your Ipod is a little more difficult, but that’s mainly because of the choices involved etc. I’ll cover that off in the next article.

In the mean time, thanks for taking the time to check this out, and I hope it’s been useful. Have fun with your Ipod!
