Titanium watches

Regular timepieces have a tendency to get scratched, torn, or even broken, but titanium watches offer you durability that you may not be able to get otherwise. Some of us need durable timepieces that can withstand just about anything we can think of putting them through. An example of harsh treatment is what those of us who have physically challenging occupations put our watches through.

What you can find on a titanium watch is scratch resistant crystal, an automatic date window, and water resistance up to 660 feet. Sounds like a pretty tough timepiece, doesn’t it? Well, that’s because it is. If you purchase a high quality type of watch, you are getting a great timepiece that doesn’t really shout “Hey! Look at me!” Now if you want a gaudy style timepiece you may not find what you’re looking for since this style is meant for the harshest of timepiece wearers. So for what are these special timepieces are out there on the market for you?

Well, there is the Titanium A by the company Picard and Cie. This timepiece not only provides you with the seconds, minutes, and hours, but provides you with a stopwatch function, a tachymeter, and chronograph functions. Sounds pretty cool, doesn’t it? It even has a date window to help you remember what day it is. Now let’s just say that it is a good thing this watch will last for a really long time because you can buy it used for around $1700. Yes, you saw that correctly, but there is not much reason as to why this timepiece cannot last you for the rest of your life and maybe even serve as an heirloom.

Other, more affordable, types of these timepieces such as the Titanium Army Watch by Wenger will show you dual time zones, can be immersed in up to 50 meters of water, and the bracelet is solid titanium. This timepiece retails for around $275 and is further proof that durable doesn’t necessarily have to be extremely expensive. So depending on your budget and your taste, there are a variety of these timepieces that can strike your fancy.
