A Perfect Spanish Beach (La Playa) Holiday

Submitted by pablo518

Ok, after exploring
Jerez as thoroughly as I could via the net, my interests turned back to the beach (la playa). I hadn't finished my cyber sun bathing on the beaches of the Costa de la Luz, but I am easily distracted. Anyway, I came back.
The Andalucia region has a number of beaches both on the
Pacific Ocean and theMediterranean Sea. I found that I like the pictures I have seen of thePacific Ocean side best. The pacific coast is called the Costa de la Luz. The coast line runs from theGuadiana River between Portugal and Spain down to the mouth of theMediterranean Sea. This area stretches over both the Huelva andCadiz Provinces of Spain, today I am in the portion in the Huelva province. If the real life sights I'd get on a visit here are half as nice as what I have seen on my computer I will have no complaints.

I also like the descriptive words I see used frequently in reference to the beaches in
Huelva. Words and phrases like: virgin beaches, you can find a secluded spot even in summer, unspoiled, accessible on foot, are very desirable when I am looking for a beach.

I don't mind other visitors, but I like to know I am not going to be sharing my beach towel (toalla) with them. I also like the idea of getting an all over tan without an all over check out!
If you have a basic spanish vocabulary then it will definately make that beach holiday more enjoyable. You will be able to ask at the beach bar for some beer (cerveza), some light nibbles (tapas), menu (el menu) or the daily menu (el menu del dias). You will be able to tell your friends that you managed to get sunburnt (bronceado/a).
Get that basic spanish grammer into your head today and enjoy your next holiday.
