Chichester Harbour has been classified an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty comprising of 11 square miles of water and 11 square miles of land with 17 miles of well marked lit channels. Access to the Solent is easy, which makes this a perfect start point to explore the rest of this exciting area. As well as sailing there are many other activities such as fishing, walking and wildfowling to take part in. Rib hire in Chichester is a great way to explore the different harbour-side villages, such as Emsworth, Bosham or Chiddham.

Sailors can enjoy excellent mooring facilities with 3,200 moorings, 2,000 berths within four marinas and 14 sailing clubs. Why not enjoy a dockside party aboard a Thames sailing barge or charter a RIB to ferry passengers to and from a larger vessel. Chichester offers Skippered RIB hire allowing you to enjoy all Chichester harbour has to offer with a safe and knowledgeable skipper. Chichester Thames sailing barge hire would give a great platform for a harbour tour. The harbour itself is self-financing from harbour dues which may be paid on an annual, weekly or daily basis to the Harbour Office at Itchenor, the Patrol Officer afloat, or to one of the wardens around the harbour.
