Cheap International Flights

Now that you have your passport ready and your destination in mind, you are ready to start looking for a cheap flight. You already know you are in for a very long flight and you have schedule to work around as well. When looking for a cheap international flight, you have a lot of questions that need to be answered before you make that final decision on which price is right for you.
One question that you may have is whether or not you can upgrade your seat on your international flight from coach to first class. According to a lot of research on this question you can upgrade your seat on any flight. You just have to know how to do it. There are several websites that offer upgrades and all of the prices vary. There are actually a couple of websites that say they can offer you free seat upgrades, but do your research thoroughly before using them as there are a lot of scams out there. You are better off finding out if you can upgrade your seat before you book your flight and how much it will cost.
Another question that you may have is whether or not you can catch another international flight in case you miss your scheduled departure time or your flight gets cancelled for unseen circumstances out of your control. This would fall under the "240 Rule" which deals with obligations that an airline has to a passenger when flights or connecting flights are cancelled or delayed due to the actions of the airline. You are out of luck if your flight is cancelled or delayed under any circumstances that are out of the airlines control, like the threat of bad weather. The good news is that under this rule, they have to cover any expenses that result from their actions and it also depends on the airline itself. This is something that you would have to discuss with the airline to find out their policies and procedures.
Finding a cheap international flight is going to be very hard. Since gas prices have gone up, airlines have had to do something to make up for their loss in fuel. Every airline has added an extra charge to their ticket price, but each of them has decided to set their own prices for this. Anywhere you look, you are going to find that flights are not as cheap as they used to be.
