A Guide to Eating Out in BathSubmitted by artavia.seo Fri, 25 Sep 2009
When you come to Bath for a holiday, you want to really enjoy yourself. One of the ways that most people do that is through time spent with family and friends at a great restaurant. If you're one of the people who like a fine meal, knowing where to eat in Bath can be very important to your overall holiday experience. A lot of people aren't sure which restaurant to choose when they arrive in Bath because there are so many, but a good rule of thumb is to find out where the locals eat. Eating in the same restaurants the locals eat in can be an experience in and of itself because those restaurants often aren't as interested in catering to the tourist crowd. They're just interested in serving good food at good prices.
Bath is a wonderful place for foodies, too, since there's everything from small pubs to grand restaurants. You can enjoy one of those or find something in between, but you'll never be without a great place to eat, just about any time of the day or night. Who you're traveling with can have a lot to do with where you want to eat, too, because not everyone likes the same kind of cuisine or even the same kind of atmosphere. There are visitor guides out there for all kinds of attractions in Bath, and that includes restaurants and pubs. Some of the choices are very touristy, some are less so, and then there are the restaurants that don't appear in the visitor guides because they're off the main roads and only frequented by the locals. Trying some of each of these kinds of restaurants can really help you see more than one side of Bath, and that's important when you're learning about an area. Even if you won't visit that often the more you know about an area the more you can enjoy what it has to offer when you're there, and then you can show family members and friends some things that they might not have been aware of. Since foodies like Bath so much you shouldn't worry about a lack of good restaurants. The biggest problem you'll run into is the fact that there are so many restaurants to choose from that you won't be able to decide which one to try next. For anyone who likes food and likes to travel, that's definitely a problem worth having.
