Submitted by dylanlautner

The economy of Australia continues to from strength to strength and obviously have enjoyed the boom times over the last decade. Australian economy was one of the first to leave the worldwide recession and continues to attract overseas skilled workers to fill new positions which are becoming available on a regular basis. It is said that the economy has been converted from one which was dependent on manufacturing sometime ago to one which is now based upon the services sector. The services sector of Australia is the one which served as the engine room of the Australian economy. That is why this country is known for providing jobs for overseas workers. For many years, Australia has been known in mining industry around the world with massive natural resources which continue to service a significant part of the employment market in Australia.

Australian migration may be a dream for most of the people who want to work in Australia as there many working conditions as a consequence of wanting to take job opportunities in this country. If you want to take part with the boom of economy which Australia creates, you must obtain a working visa Australia first.

For Australia's working condition, just like any other country such as UK, the average working week is around 37 hours, Monday to Friday, overtime payments for out of hours work and holiday and sick leave entitlement. Your capability and improvement as an employee is well-documented by your employer which in the end give you well-deserved incentives.

It is reported that over 11 million people available for work 75 per cent are employed by the services industry and 21.1 per cent by industry while the rate of unemployment in Australia increased from 4.2 per cent in 2008 to 5.7per cent in 2009. But it is set to return to lower levels as the economy picks up after the worldwide recession.

Most of the Australian workforces are made up of overseas skilled workers who moved to the country over the years. It is also concluded that the same number of overseas skilled workers moving to Australia in the short to medium term due to the fact the economy has now gone through the development stage and could now be described as developed.

The vast majority of migrants are likely to go for one of the major cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and Adelaide to search for jobs applicable for their skills. These areas are also known to provide the highest cost of living in Australia but employment activity is the most focused here.

Domestic Australian workforce has now develops and adopts new skills of its own to check further reduction in the number of skilled workers coming from overseas. Nevertheless, Australian Immigration has played a major part in the development of not only Australia as a whole but in particular the Australian economy. And this will likely to be seen in providing more job opportunities in 2011.
