Also, you never know what kind of bargain their city might have that your city might not have. The whole process is exhilarating. If I am honest, I plan my vacations around the shopping. Shopping to me is an art. It is my first priority on a trip. It is not something to get out of the way, it is something to experience, and then I move on to the other sites. My most recent trip to Yorkshire had so many great shopping locations. If you are going there, let me recommend the following areas to stop at.

• Leeds. Very fast-paced, buzzing city with lots of shops. When you are tired, the countryside is right next door.
• Whitby. There are a few shops here. The city is famous for its heritage.
