Hill Station in India: Kausani Hill Station

Introduction
In the Himalayas range very few places which can we compare with the beauty of Kaushani. Kaushani is also knows as "switzerland of india". As the whole Kumaon Hills have been famous for their peaceful beauty with the enormous mountains. Kausani was firstly called Valna. Kausani present the delightful of the magnificent mountains and the deep pine forests. Kausani the birthplace of the famous poet Sumitra Nandan. From the Kausani, the peaks Nanda Devi and Trishul are clearly visible from here. In 1929, Mahatma Gandhi spent two weeks in the Kausani. The place where he lived is called the Anasakti Ashram.

Kausani is perfect place to holiday with the family. Because of its natural beauty, visitors come here all over the year. From morning to evening, from valleys to peaks, many different colours can be seen on the Himalayas.

Pant Museum near from the Kaushani bus stand. This Museum named the Hindi poet Sumitranandan Pant. This museum is the Sumitranandan Pant house of his childhood days. Poet Sumitranandan Pant's daily use drafts of his poetrys, letters, articles, his awards etc. are show here.

Lakshmi Ashram
Lakshmi Ashram is the famous for social service for the women. It is just 1 km away from the Anasakti Ashram. Gandhiji's supporter, Sarala Behen used up her whole life here and performance social service. Lakshmi Ashram is situated in a private area in a dark jungle.

Baijnath
Baijnath is 17 kms. from the kaushani. This is very older temple And bank of Gomti river in a plane valley. Baijnath at an height of 1126 m. The temples are observe upon, for its heritage and carving stone work. This temple was built by Katyuri leader.

Chaukori
Chaukori is famous for the clear view of the Himalayas peaks. It is 75 kms away from the kaushani. In this place you can fell like you can touch the Himalayas. Sunrise and the sunset view of Himalayas are looking beautiful.
