Holidaying on a budget need not be a washoutSubmitted by leelaz99@googlemail.com Thu, 11 Jun 2009
This year we'll be pretty concerned about our summer holidays, the annual trip to the sun drenched beaches is under threat due to the rising costs of flying on an airplane. For decades we've enjoyed the ability to book a flight and a hotel and fly away in the summer for sunnier climes.
This year though our budget is being tested and many people are facing the prospect of not being able to spend as much money meaning we may not be able to go away this year or could leave ourselves in a financial hole if we did. What if there was a solution that could not only guarantee us a holiday away from work and also be able to cater to any family member and give them a great holiday? Well there is such an option, UK holiday parks. UK holiday parks can provide all the fun and excitement for the children as well as the adults, even if all they want to do is relax. The most popular UK holiday parks are situated near prime seaside resorts meaning that when the sun comes out you could go down to the beach and enjoy that as much as you would abroad. The ethos of holiday parks seems to be having the entire holiday experience all packaged together and not having to worry about small details. There's plenty of choice accommodation wise, as well as the entertainment and fun and games. Children can play sports or other active pursuits like trampolining and bowling. Holiday parks have been firm British favourites for years and only really over the time of cheap no frills flight companies have these holiday parks seen a noticeable drop. Well now with even these budget airlines sneakily adding small charges and extras to our final cost there has been something of a resurgence of the British Holiday. Holiday camps are no longer the out of date wet weekends, recent years have shown us that Britain has got some serious beach holiday potential with the record temperature summers and even spring months we've enjoyed. The facilities have all been modernised to appeal to the modern family including flat panel TVs on the walls to being able to draw in the big name celebrities to perform music or other entertainment during your stay.
