The Atlantic Shores of France

Submitted by henke33

Though the Mediterranean coast of France has been enticing visitors for decades, many overlook the great thing about the similarly impressive west coast. We take a quick look at some of the high spots of France's Atlantic shore.

Four regions of France have Atlantic shores - Bretagne ( Brittany ), Pays De La Loire, Poitou-Charentes and Aquitaine.

Brittany is probably going to be the most well known for many UK holiday-makers who have selected to spend some time on the western coast of France. Indeed, overseas visitors have been snapping up property here, implying that some feel that the north-west coast has lost some of its "natural feel", though there were associated benefits.

Should you be looking for accommodation in this part of France then you'll undeniably find lots of self-catering accommodation offered by English speaking owners.

For those looking for more of the genuine France, the remainder of the Atlantic shore offers some great openings. With discount airline Flybe now offering flights to both Rennes and La Rochelle, this part of France hasn't looked closer for plenty of us.

There's such a lot to do and see on the Atlantic coast that it is not surprising that many are snapping up the chance to go to the area. From the wine-growing areas around Bordeaux to the wonderful surfing beaches north of La Rochelle, there's lots here for everybody.

French food is a great attraction for lots too and you will find that it's absolutely wonderful here, in the western regions of France.

You will find great adaptation in cuisine and yet a habitually top of the range, with seafood and fish dishes being especially straightforward to endorse!

Therefore why wait? Grab an inexpensive flight to France and luxuriate in the style of the Atlantic coast.
