With the UK offering so much to do and see, how will you know what will be a good activity for the family and kids. There are so many things to do in the UK so this article will address a few things to do in the area of Bedfordshire that will keep your kids entertained and doesn't involve being stuck at home watching television all day.

Attraction one is Wild Britain. This is a great place to take the kids for a day of entertainment and with so much on offer they kids won't be bored. The attraction offers a jungle themed area in which you can experience the hot climate whilst spotting a wonderful range of butterflies and their in house tortoise ‘Speedo'. There is also a range of activities to do in the craft centre like face painting and other creative fun. The Bugs and Beasties section will allow you to see first hand the weird and wonderful creatures that inhabit our country, also offering a meet the keeper section where kids can be introduced to some of the more scary friends such as spiders so you can get a little more hands on. The park also offers a lovely tea room for you to take a break and recharge your batteries. Why not try the hedgehog play trail and follow the adventures of Urchin with a series of fun tasks and puzzles. Why not try the hands on corner as there are a few more cuddly creatures like rabbits to get to grips with.

The next attraction in Bedfordshire is the Bedford Museum. Unlike some museums this one has a constant range of attractions and events happening through out the year. The 3rd of October will see ‘The Big Bawden Draw' which is set up to mark the opening of the Edward Bawden exhibition with a drawing competition inspired by the creativity of this unique artist. The ‘Winds of Change' exhibition in November will offer demonstrations and creative activities that first originated from Japan and will include dressing in kimonos, origami and Chinese writing. There is a family day in the 5th of December that will give you and the kids a chance to undertake the activity of star gazing as well as make a launch your own rockets. The museum is a great day out and has something on offer through out the year.

So what ever you are looking for one of these destinations will have something to offer your family, no matter what time of year it is.
