Travel to Madrid, Spain

It is common knowledge that the capital of any country is one of the must-see destinations during a vacation. Madrid, though, seems to be an exception. Everyone tends to compare it to other famous European capitals such as Rome, Paris and the like. Spain does not have famous structures like the Colosseum, the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa to boast about; Madrid is commonly likened to a rebellious teenage girl who came from a convent school. It is mostly associated with its nightclubs and bars which fill their streets with a medley of catchy tracks in the evening, enticing the youth to go out and enjoy until early morning.
In spite of its somewhat infamous reputation among travelers, there is so much more to Madrid aside from its night life. A few other things that Madrid has to offer include astounding art galleries, an array of scrumptious restaurants and tapas bars; through these different sights, by traveling to Madrid one would be able to have a taste of the life of the people who know how to bring value to life by enjoying the best they can through their rich and artful culture. It's not that you can find these traits only in Madrid, it's just that you find these things ins vast abundance in this passionate and colorful city.
When wandering about in places abroad, one would mostly feel lost and alien, as one is not familiar with the territory. In Madrid, all you have to do would be to step into a tapas bar, which is simply a restaurant-bar which sells a variety of appetizers or cold cuts such as chorizo al vino, which is a certain kind of sausage slowly cooked in wine and calamares. Upon entry, the locals will immediately welcome you to their table - such is the nature of people in Madrid, where one walks in alone and lost and comes out with many new friends and a desire to stay even longer.
