Earlier in 2010 there lingered remains of the Red Shirts protests in the form of faltered tourism. Protests emanated riots that emerged out of the political predicament, smaller rifts that over the years resulted from the broadening class differences, turning out to the widening gap which misconstrued the government initiatives. Thus, social anxiety and chaos were the reasons that raised concern over Thai tourism this year.

In the wake of scenic views and idyllic serenity, where travelers round the globe prefer the most salubrious travel resorts, while at the same time considering what appears suitable to their pockets, the name of ‘Thailand' is what at first strikes to their minds. "A lot of foreign tourists have already cancelled their trips as they don't feel safe to come to Thailand.
