Euroscape Travel, A Unique Online Experience

When Directors Iva Dalco, John McIntosh and Boris Greiss started Euroscape in 2002, the vision was to create a Wholesaler & Tour Operator Online. With a collective experience of over 50 years as Traditional Wholesalers, Ms. Iva Dalco & Mr. Boris Greiss realized then, that Wholesalers, relying on existing Reservation and Accounting system available in the market at that time and heavily dependent on the production of brochures, would face big challenges by the Internet and need to adapt to the new technology and communication channels in the immediate future.
With this in mind, Euroscape Directors developed a web-based Online Reservation System, a project supervised by John McIntosh, Director for Information & Communications Technology (ICT); and employing their own ICT team for this project.
When Euroscape started trading in 2003 with a basic Online Travel System, most of their travel services were on a Request basis and Brochures were still necessary to market Euroscape products effectively.
The ongoing development of Euroscape’s Online System continued and in May 2008 the groundbreaking propriety system “ET2” was launched.
ET2 has over 24,000 products with availability and instant confirmation for Hotels, Apartments, Cruises and Escorted Tours. Travel & Tours, for Independent Travellers, covers all of Europe: East and West including the Scandinavian region, the Baltic countries, Russia with the former CIS and Mediterranean countries as well as stopover packages in the United States, Canada and Asia. The number of products increases daily with newly selected Tours, Hotels and Apartments.
Special lower cost prices were offered daily online as they become available from suppliers through a Dynamic system linked to the Suppliers.
Through ET2, the Travel Agent can no book a hotel online and confirm it to their clients instantaneously. Payments and/or deposits can also be made online through various methods, such as Safepay, by using Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club International). Safepay is a secure website that can process credit card payments immediately; validate and approve them within seconds. Payments through Money Direct is another option, through our website, with instant validation.
As soon as payments are approved, E-Documents are issued which may be downloaded online.
In the last few challenging months, Euroscape has noticed a distinct shift in the behaviour of direct customers when it comes to online booking. Many travel agents have become wary in giving brochures, marketing hotels, to clients as they believe clients use the brochures as a reference, and then book the same hotel on the internet through other online low cost companies or directly with the hotel, thus loosing any possible commission a Wholesaler would pay them.
Euroscape is dedicated to assist Travel Agencies, offering very competitive prices and immediate confirmation. The Travel Agencies’ Clients can choose the hotel, plan his own Itinerary through our facilities, and nominate a Travel Agent. The Travel Consultant can do a booking while the Client is in front of them and in minutes, receive confirmation from Euroscape site, make payment through our secure pay site and in many cases produce the Vouchers within minutes. The system is interactive and helps with the positioning of the hotel with the planning of the itinerary.
Euroscape also offers LIVE HELP on the website, with co-browsing tools, to assist Travel Agents in booking online by walking them through quick and easy steps.

Euroscape will produce a limited number of 2009 brochures for Preferred Travel Agents who need to display them in their Agencies.
Euroscape strongly recommends Travel Agencies to use our online E-BROCHURES-available as much as they possibly can, E-Brochures will be available soon with prices in NZD, USD, GBP, EUR.
