At this time of the year after the cost of the festive season and of course in this current economic climate, we are all looking for the best deal possible, whether that be the general things such as house insurance, the weekly shopping bill or eating out. The latter may seem like a luxury that may have to be sacrificed, however, there are some fantastic deals to be found.

Restaurants across the country are working extremely hard to ensure that their customer numbers don’t decline, leading to some great savings and offers. But is it all about price? There seems little reasoning to go for lesser quality of product but at a bargain price!

The best advice is to do your online research, check out the restaurants websites, have a good look at their menus and their offer menus.

At this time of year, you can expect to get some great deals at many of the quieter coastal hotels and restaurants, and for great deals in Suffolk, you can’t beat the Bru restaurant in Aldeburgh, who are offering some fantastic fine dining offers, a two course lunch or dinner for just £10. The excellent quality of fresh local ingredients, locally caught fish and locally farmed meat is complimented by the best of fresh and locally grown vegetables.

The casual atmosphere at The Bru and the welcoming staff make for a perfect retreat for couples or families and the varied menu will satisfy all appetites. Its glass frontage gives you fantastic views of this stunning coastline and the Bru Restaurant’s décor fits perfectly with it’s location, and if this isn’t tempting enough, the Brudenell hotel is offering some great accommodation deals for those who want to make an overnight or weekend stay.
