Places to Visit in India - Five Unforgettable Sites

India is a vast country endowed with beautiful landscapes, historical & religious sites, mountain ranges, desert landscapes, breaches, and rich cultural heritage. Many tempting attractions and warm hospitality are featured attractions of India tourism. India tourism attracts tourists and vacationers from all over the world and provides them lots of options to do and to see. The large stretch and numerous attractions cannot be explored adequately within a few weeks. This article lists five unforgettable sites you should not miss if your time is limited to a month or less. These five places of India will make a lasting impression, I am sure.

Agra - the Land of Taj Mahal
Agra is a beautiful city located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is globally noted for magnificent building, Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal itself attracts a large number of tourists every year from all over the world. It is one of the state attractions of India visit and you will too love to see it. For first times, it is a must visit site and creates magical spell on visitors. This beautiful monument was built by mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Composed in pure white marble the Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Other attractions of Agra are Agra Fort, Itmad-Ud-Daullah Tomb and Fatehpur Sikri.

Jaipur - the Pink City of India
Jaipur is the state capital of Rajasthan. It is noted for magnificent forts and monuments along with some other attractions of tourist interest. City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Albert Hall Museum, Govind Dev Ji Temple, Birla Temple, etc are major attraction in Jaipur city. Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Jal Mahal and Nahargarh Fort are also worth visit located in the outskirts of the city.

Mumbai - Dream City
Often described as the Dream City, Mumbai is the financial capital of India and political capital of Indian state Maharashtra. It is the home to India's biggest film industry called Bollywood. Goa - the Land of Sun, Sand, Surf and Sea
