Useful Tips before you Travel to Murcia

Submitted by smozwt

Make the most of your holiday in Murcia, Spain, by following these simple tips:

Immerse yourself in local knowledge - Before you even leave the country, make sure you read up on all there is to know about Murcia. Blogs will offer you insight into many things not covered in guidebooks.

Be safe - Register your Spain travel with your government. This can usually be done online. Though Murcia is generally considered safe for travel, the region's popularity means if something were to go wrong your embassy will reach out to you first.

Book ahead - Where possible, make reservations before you land at car hire Murcia Airport. Murcia, like the rest of Spain, fills up quickly in summer. Forward planning might be the difference between a holiday worth remembering and a disappointing time away.

Book the basics like flights, accommodation and car hire for your big trip. You might even find it valuable to reserve sight-seeing and dining - avoid long waits!

Purchase foreign currency -- You will be happy to have it when you land feeling tired and disoriented. Currency tends to be cheaper when you don't buy it at an airport.

Learn some of the lingo - You'd be surprised at just how handy a few phrases in the Spanish language can be. For instance, if you've chosen car hire Murcia, understanding some of the lingo will help you on the roads -- "calle" means "street" and "peaje" refers to "toll way".

We've covered just a few simple tips you can use to make life easier while you may have accumulated others on previous holidays.

If you're keen to explore Murcia's surrounds, we highly recommend you take the drive to Costa Blanca and Valencia.

Have a safe trip…!!!
