Bag Packed Luggage: Memoir

Submitted by julie.gibbson

A Tiring 13 hour journey with some huge luggage on my back! Then a continuous struggle to catch up with activities that leave you detached with your precious luggage. Perhaps happens when one carries a big bag stuffed with valuable luggage over an unknown territory far away from his or her native place. A single immature act can make you robbed in the day light; keeping this in mind I played keeping all my cards close to my heart.

A much patient Driver and many a breaks made us so fast that we just happened to have our lunch, somehow. Not an issue: roads are generally unpredictable all across the globe due to the ever increasing traffic issues. We must have the courtesy to pretend saying it happens at times. Anyways, somehow I along with my friends managed to reach to the hotel that we have booked prior to our visit. Putting our luggage bags aside we breathe a sigh of relief. A couple of minutes later I talked to the blonde, the receptionist, staring us for long.

We had planned lots of things before the journey was started. But the five star hotel was very beautiful and before moving anywhere out we decided to have a look on every beautiful sight of the widespread hotel. Then we spotted girls. Gorgeous looking girls draped in transparent dresses were dancing on the DJ. I called one waiter carrying some wine and asked curiously about the scene. He told us that some college girls from a reputable college have occupied most of the hotel rooms to enjoy their holiday vacation. Wine was being served and amidst wine and beauty I was relentlessly trying to save a glass in my hand. Music that could turn anything dance, I had my partner in my hand to get mingled with (of course a glass).

Other nice morning at 8Am I woke up and thought the dinner was missing. Puffing a cigarette I thought to take a walk to see what is going on outside. Then my heart started brimming with disappointment. I saw girls with their samsonite bags packed with their luggage. Someone told me that due to some tragedy happened with one of the girls' family member they decided to cancel their further stay and are about to leave. The same hotel looked so boring that we also decided to leave at the moment. And finally I along with friends picked up our luggage that was yet not opened. So finally we just made our way back without even opening our luggage bags. And, surly that was the most memorable journey of my life.
