With 21 saloons, the Deccan Odyssey is jointly ventured by Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation and Indian Railways. Of 21 carriages, 13 are passenger saloons, 1 conference car, 1 spa car, 2 presidential suite cars and 1 staff carriage. Each passenger saloon accommodates 8 passengers while presidential car accommodates just 4 guests. With a few guests onboard, the personalized care and hospitality is assured. The facilities include DVD, TV, in-cabin telephone with direct dial, ornate panels and art deco interiors, silk bedding, attached bathrooms, channel music, doctor onboard and much more.
