All the nations that are looking forward for a beneficial approach in the area of animal conservation are getting more and more inclined toward the open zoo concept. it is becoming increasingly popular among the various wildlife enthusiasts of different countries. The wildlife Singapore, which are mainly located at the Singapore Zoological Gardens are in spacious and open areas.

Animals are separated from the visitors by placing natural barriers or wet moats in between. These barriers are so cleverly designed that they look like a natural part of the enclosure and are usually kept hidden. The kind of barriers to be used depends majorly on the types of animals, but the zoo makes it a point to keep the open concept of the zoo intact while designing the barriers.

For fierce animals, generally glass fronted enclosures are used which are attractively framed, so as to give it a natural look. The wildlife Singapore and they way it is treated in the Singapore zoos is just unique and fabulous. The Singapore zoo is perhaps the world's most renowned open zoo. The Singapore Zoo is adorned with a variety of animal exhibits, starting from the most traditional orangutan, to the animals of the most fragile forests of the world. All kinds of species can be seen in the Singapore Zoo, be it exotic or common.

It is commonly known as the Mandai Zoo, and is located on an area of about 28 hectares. It was opened in the year 1973, and since then has been at task with the preservation of different species of animals. This zoo is thoroughly maintained and operated by the Wildlife Singapore Reserves who also administer the various other national parks and sanctuaries.

The wildlife Singapore is kept in free and spacious landscaped areas, which represents their natural habitats. There are about 2530 different varieties of animals present in the zoo. This zoo is not just a mere place where people can see the animals, but it is also a place from where we can learn the facts of wildlife conservation. This place provides numerous educational facts, and conveys the awareness about the threatened species, which need immense help and care. When you visit it, you get to see the added dimension of the zoo. It details the conversation of the animals, and this is like a visual campaign for the tourists. It is just not a matter of entertainment, but is a way to educate and inform people and to inspire them to preserve the natural fauna of the world and to keep it healthy for years to come.

The visitors and especially the kids for that matter can enjoy their tour by even taking elephant and horse rides. For people who want to detail the facts of wildlife Singapore, they can go on a personalized tour and find out how the animals are taken care off in these natural habitats built for them. Thus you must visit such places as there is always something or the other here to be discovered.
