Modernising my apartment with a furniture wholesaler

My apartment was starting to look really awful. After being fed up for a while I decided that because I had some time I would look for some new lounges to add a spark to my dying apartment. However I did feel that a whole new look was necessary to give it that spark I wanted. Considering that my tables leg is starting to break apart I thought I would start there.

Good ideas
I thought getting a room divider could help in creating a space that looks bigger, and help keep all of my constant paper work out of view. Another good idea I came up with was a cube storage system for my free flowing papers. I saw this in another article where the cubes had been used as an artwork display.

I decided to look at a furniture wholesaler for some chairs as the ones that came with the table did not impress me at all. This was a good idea as they had a great selection available. I was even tempted to buy some sun loungers or deck chairs for the balcony. I also thought that if I covered up my large blank wall with a bookcase it would really give it a fresh new feel one that I could look forward to coming home to each day especially since I am a great fan of books. Although when I was at one of the importers I saw some interesting carved wood art panels that I thought might create an interesting atmosphere. Check out http://soundslikehome.com.au/wholesale/Artwork/Mangowood/Wood-Carved-Free-Standing-Screen-838.htm. Something that I thought could create a better look than the prints that I had up in my room

I went with the bookcase though as it will provide a place where I can stack my books and it will help fill the other room a bit better.
After seeing the outdoor furniture wholesaler I began to feel envious of my roommate who happens to have a deck off his room. I would have also liked to move his disturbing sofas to the curb.

Interesting finds
At one of the furniture wholesalers I found some hand made recycled Teak furinture, the quality was excellent (the staff there said it had been processed many times to remove all traces of old finish and that because the furniture was hand crafted it would keep a really high resale value even through wear and tear). I thought this was a really good idea because of the incredible character that the wood was able to maintain.

Annoyances
One thing that really bothered me was how long it took to get between each retailer
and the lack of stock they had at each store. I could have understood if they needed to import the furniture from an international wholesaler but their usual excuse was that they had limited storage capability and kept most of the items at their distributor. I had to wait so long to get all the furniture I actually wanted - almost three weeks. So glad I decided to go to a wholesaler instead.
