It is important to realize the distinction between Affiliate Marketing and Network Marketing. In Network Marketing, people are paid not only when others buy the product they are selling, but also when other people sign up to be marketers by using their links and websites. Network Marketing, while still a viable option, has gotten a huge "black eye" because of all the false promises and outright scams that have been circling the Internet for years. Most people are like me; they prefer to have nothing whatsoever to do with Network Marketing. Maybe they or someone they know has been scammed before. Affiliate marketing is simple and straightforward: when a customer buys a product using the affiliate marketer's link, the affiliate is paid the promised commission. Nothing more, nothing less.

In order to make money on the internet, one must sell a product to another person. Being an online Affiliate Marketer is by far the simplest way to start making money right away and can create income for years to come.
