Custom DissertationSubmitted by EugeneArticle Sat, 11 Jul 2009
Custom dissertation deals with the exact requirement of the customers. As per the subject or as desire by the course the paper needs to be customized. The fine tunings as per the requirement is very important though the basic structure of dissertation may not vary much. The research paper can be divided in different parts according to different parameters but fundamentally research papers can be divided in the following two types:
1) Fundamental or pure research: Pure research is the research concerning principles or laws or rules. Pure research aims at the achievement of knowledge. It is not concerned with the utility or use of the conclusions of any research work. Thus, pure research is organized only for the attainment of knowledge and truth. Besides the search for new principles, pure research verified the old established principles and laws. With the change of time and space it often becomes necessary to make a change in the fundamental principles concerning them. This need is also pointed out by pure research. Principles are purified by constant and repeated research upon them. Sometimes the scientists start doubting some prevalent principles. To verify the doubts and to remove them, pure research is carried on concerning such principles. If the doubt proves correct the concerned principles and laws are modified according to the conclusions and results of pure research. Thus pure research is concerned with the theoretical aspect. It aims at the attainment, increase and verification of knowledge. It tries to find out the cause effect relationship. For example, the relationship between crime and economic status is a proper subject of pure research. Again, pure research aims at finding out the laws working behind the observed phenomena. It is a postulate that a phenomenon is governed by some definite laws. These laws are discovered by pure research. For example, the sociologists organize pure research to find out laws governing social phenomena. Thus, pure research is the fundamental basis of the progress and evolution in different subjects. It is also the basis of the evolution of necessary concepts and technical terminology. The process of standardization of these is based upon pure research. 2) Applied Research: Applied research is concerned with the solution of particular problems. While pure research discovers principles and laws, applied research discovers their application in order to solve some specific problems. Thus applied research is concerned with the applied aspect of life. For example, research in the field of family planning aims at certain applications of some principles. Similarly, administrative plans need applied research in order to find out necessary theoretical basis. In fact, applied research gives complete and valid information about the many facets of the social problems. In order to solve socio pathological problems, applied research is carried on to gather all sort of information about the social maladies. Applied research is thus concerned with actual life. It discovers the what, how and why of actual life. The applied research helps us in removing different prejudices, preconceptions and false ideas. It suggests ways for the solution of different kinds of practical problems.
